This is the perfect way to try out rock climbing, even if you're currently a complete stranger to crampons. Using a state-of-the-art indoor climbing wall, you'll learn the ropes (pun intended) without any chance of your climb being ruined by downpours or midge attacks. First off you'll be briefed on safety and basic climbing techniques - all necessary stuff, though it won't make much sense while your feet are still firmly on the ground. So then it's time to put theory into practice on the instruction bay. You'll learn the basics of climbing and abseiling, including how to tie in, belay, and the moves you need to scale the aretes, slabs, overhangs and grooves on your way to the top - all with constant encouragement and supervision from your expert instructors.
