Cottage Chic Vintage Style Rose SignThis vintage style, painted rose wooden sign titled Party Dress Roses is part of a series inspired by childhood summers at my Grandparent’s lakeside home.Reminiscent of vintage fabric, with pink roses on a washed pink and cream distressed background, this sign will look great in any room in your home, bringing a sense of summer inside year round. Measuring approximately 22 by 20 cm, and 2 cm thick, and painted with acrylic paints, it is finished with matt interior varnish and wired for hanging. It is important to remember that sun, wind and water can cause wood to warp, split and rot, and the paint to fade, crackle and peel, despite varnishing. For use outdoors in a protected position (covered porch or veranda), select the outdoor satin varnish and wax option, but keep in mind that this will alter the original finish and therefore the sign cannot be returned. |
